If you are seeking to learn more about the Catholic faith in general or need a Sacrament, our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation For Adults) program is here to serve you. We are the Holy Spirit's "yes" to His invitation to you to learn and discern your faith.
Open to all persons, regardless of religious background or philosophical persuasion, who genuinely seek, by God’s grace, to live their lives in the distinctive Catholic Christian faith.
This is a communal process of spiritual and educational formation for adults over the age of 18 who are seeking full communion in the Roman Catholic Church through a conversion of mind and heart. Program runs from fall to spring, culminating in receiving the Sacraments.
RCIA includes several stages marked by study, prayer and rites at Mass. Participants in RCIA are known as catechumens as they undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Eucharist and/or Confirmation. RCIA follows the ancient practice of the Church and was restored by the Second Vatican Council as the normal way adults prepare for Baptism.
